After all the furore about BBC salaries you would have thought the Corporation would have kept their heads down for a bit wouldn’t you!
Not so – in a hilarious piece of broadcasting they had a BBC bloke interviewing another BBC bloke about the BBC – standing outside the BBC building he is actually broadcasting from! I think I may just have spotted how they can save a couple of salaries!
BBC media editor Amol Rajan was standing outside the BBC’s Broadcasting House because he was reporting on the story about BBC stars’ pay.
But it might have been easier to come inside and talk to presenter Clive Myrie, who was literally a few yards away in the BBC News studio.
Unsurprisingly the piss taking on social media was instant.
Of course this might have been a deliberate move by them – designed to take the heat off the inequity of paying a bloke who puts records on about 100 times more than a nurse, fire fighter or cop – all of whom have proper jobs.
