After the thrilling game in San Juan last week, Eddie Jones is hoping for a 2-0 series win when England take on the Pumas again tomorrow night at the Estadio CA Colon.
Jones has made some changes giving Sam Underhill his first cap and bringing back Chris Robshaw after injury kept him out of the first test –
M Brown (Harlequins); M Yarde (Harlequins), H Slade (Exeter), P Francis (Northampton), J May (Gloucester); G Ford (Bath), D Care (Harlequins); E Genge (Leicester), D Hartley (Northampton, capt), H Williams (Exeter), C Ewels (Bath), J Launchbury (Wasps), C Robshaw (Harlequins), S Underhill (Bath), N Hughes (Wasps).
Replacements: J Singleton (Worcester), M Mullan (Wasps), W Collier (Harlequins), N Isiekwe (Saracens), M Wilson (Newcastle), J Maunder (Exeter), A Lozowski (Saracens), D Solomona (Sale).
The side has more experience than the starting line-up last week and should take the series by beating the Pumas – by around 9 points.
Whatever happens Eddie will know that the strength in depth of England rugby is very impressive if they can compete with the Pumas during a Lions tour.
My other guesses for the rest of the tours are –
Australia to beat Scotland by 5
Italy to go down to Fiji by 15
Japan won’t be able to stop Ireland – the men in green by 20
France to come back and beat the Springboks by 5
Canada will lose to Romania but not by many
USA to fall to Georgia by 11
Finally the Red Roses take on the Black Ferns ahead of the Lions in Rotorua in a first v second ahead of the Women’s World Cup in Ireland in August.
I have to go with my heart and have England by 5
There’s a ton of rugby on TV tomorrow so there will be a lot of vegging on the sofa chez me casa turnipville.
