Final Stretch

The Premiership enters its home run this week, with just 5 games to go before the knockout stage for the top 4 (and indeed the bottom team!).

Bristol take on Gloucester at Ashton gate tonight and it is desperate times for the home side. Gloucester are not in great form either and I think Bristol will scrape the win.

Quins entertain the Falcons and despite the Northern side’s increasing strength should win by about 10.

There’s a huge derby at Franklin’s Gardens where the Tigers are the visitors, fresh from their Anglo Welsh Cup triumph and the sacking of Aaron Mauger. Both teams need the win to keep their hopes alive of a play-off place. Saints to be the happier come 5pm on Saturday.

The Chiefs are riding high and will gain at least 4 points against Sale

Worcester travel to Wasps and will be more than a little concerned if Bristol do triumph tonight. They will be even more worried when they leave the Ricoh empty handed.

The Saracens v Bath is already virtually a sell-out as 3rd and 4th in the table clash. Saracens should pick up all 4 points and deny bath even a losing bonus point. That result would make the fight for 4th very interesting when Bath take on the Tigers on 8th April.

BT Sport are showing this Sunday’s game free to air!

Add in the Super Rugby, Pro12 and Top14 coverage and it should be another good weekend on the sofa. The Mrs will be right chuffed!
