Sting in the Tale

The heading would have worked better if the Wasps game had been the last of the weekend to be honest.

I managed to get 5 out of 6 for my Premiership predictions over the weekend with only the Wasps defeat at Gloucester fucking up my chance of a clean sweep.

So my cumulative score is back up to 75% – not too shabby I think.

After R8 the top three are starting to put a little daylight between themselves and the rest

The Chiefs and Saints will be looking to get into the top 4 at the expense of the Tigers  – it won’t happen next weekend when I think all three clubs will get at least 4 points.

Despite the sacking of Andy Robinson and the confident noises from the Bristol camp, it is hard to see them staying in the Premiership at the end of the season.

There will be three ‘live’ matches next weekend –

Friday 25 November: Northampton Saints v Newcastle Falcons (7.45pm)

Sunday 27 November: Saracens v Gloucester (1pm)

Sunday 27 November: Harlequins v Bath Rugby (3.15pm)

Plus all the internationals on Saturday!
