Home Thoughts

The Saturday internationals have some good match ups, although all eyes will be on Dublin on come 5.30pm  –

  • Italy v South Africaat Stadio Artemio Franchi, Florence 2:00pm
  • England v Fijiat Twickenham Stadium, London 2:30pm
  • Wales v Japanat Principality Stadium, Cardiff 2:30pm
  • Scotland v Argentinaat BT Murrayfield Stadium, Edinburgh 5:00pm
  • Ireland v New Zealandat Aviva Stadium, Dublin 5:30pm
  • France v Australiaat Stade de France, Paris 8:00pm

I’m picking home wins for 3 of the 6 Nations

Italy will inevitably get knocked over by the Springboks (by 20)

England should be 15 ahead of Fiji at the final whistle

Wales will have about 18 points too much for Japan

Scotland should hold off the Pumas – but it will be close – only a 6 point difference I think (possibly less)

Despite all the hype and denigration of the All Blacks this week (and possibly because of it), I can’t see the losing two on the bounce. All Blacks by 13

France are improving, but not enough to beat Australia. Wallabies by 10

Still think they should have some games on Sunday – so I can get out of tidying up the bastard garden!
