Promises, Promises

What a difference a day makes.

Trump has already started to water down the stuff he promised he was going to do as soon as he was made President.

Remind you of anyone?

Nigel Farage started saying the £350 million NHS claim was a ‘mistake’ – even before the result was in.

Official Leave campaign adverts on posters and buses claimed: ‘Let’s give our NHS the £350 million the EU takes every week’ and ‘We send the EU £350 million a week, let’s fund our NHS instead’.

But speaking on Good Morning Britain, the Ukip leader said he could not guarantee it would be possible and the Leave campaign should not have said it.

Iain Duncan Smith, one of the top Tory Brexiteers has now backtracked over the Vote Leave’s pledge to give the NHS the £350million that the EU takes every week.

The former Tory leader was presented with the pledge by Andrew Marr this morning, but he denied promising the money would be spent on the NHS.

Vote Leave campaigned using a bus that promised the money for the NHS.

Mr Duncan Smith denied the Leave side had broken promises to switch £350 million a week from Brussels to the NHS as he suggested something like half that amount could go to the health service.

‘It is not a promise broken, I never said that through the course of the election,

It appears that no one in  ‘Leave’ never promised to use the £350million a week for the NHS – they must be fucking livid with whoever made those posters for them and made them out to be liars. Pity they never looked over their shoulders, they might have noticed them – maybe they were just too small to read!

Apparently you can lie through your ‘private patients’ teeth and enough idiots will believe you – yes Don?

Now, about that order for several million bricks.
