As rugby continues to pursue ever more technical help in getting an edge over opponents there was news today that the All Blacks are using face masks on flights to help them beat jet lag –
The ABs flew to Argentina last week and will be in Durban on Saturday to play the Springboks. Jet lag will be a concern even flying in business class.
It seems like a good idea – one that the Lions may benefit from when they head south next year with only a few days before the first game on tour.
However if the Springboks are going to have any chance of stopping the ABs getting their 17th consecutive victory then they will need Steve Hansen’s team to be strapped up like this when they run out at Kings Park
